This turkey's almost done...

It's so hard to believe that I'm taking my 32 week belly pictures. (The husband made the comment "ARE WE GOING TO HAVE TO DO THIS EVERYMONTH??" while I was forcing him to take my picture). Every time I look at my belly I think "WHOA! Where did YOU come from?!?". At my 32 weeks appointment, I had gained almost 20 pounds. The doctor was able to tell me what position she was in - which shed light on some things. I thought before she must've been kicking and punching b/c of the position of her movement but now I realize that it was her two spread apart feet that I was feeling. And based on the size of her parents' feet, NO WONDER she packs such a punch.

Things I have experienced so far in pregnancy:
Mild nausea
MAJOR heartburn
A firing nerve
A dislocating rib
Anemia
MAJOR Swelling (my right ankle is now referred to as a "kankle"
Insomnia/ Headaches/ backache

Things I have yet to experience so far (knocking on wood as I type this):
An ultrasound with a full-bladder
Stretch marks
Hemhorroids
Gestational Diabetes
UTI (don't ask me how since I have these every month when I'm NOT pregnant)

I am so behind on my Christmas shopping. I am usually one to be done by June but this year life has been all baby/ puppy for several months. This morning the hubby got up long before the crack of dawn to head to Best Buy for the Early Bird Specials. In spite of him being in line by 3 am, he missed out on the computer and camcorder we were hoping for. He did get our seconds choices on both, though, so I'm anxious to get our DSL hooked up so we can finally join the rest of the world by having a computer at home. Maybe then I can keep up with my much missed blogging buddies.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I was so worried that it would be miserable without Bumpa but I think having it at a new place helped. I also had myself worried sick over Manny being alone and cold in the car. Silly, I know... but it was Thanksgiving and all... and he would be all alone for a long time. As soon as we arrived, much to my UTTER delight, Shawn's aunt insisted that the puppy was allowed inside, too. So instead of having to worry about him all day and keep going outside to turn on the car to keep him warm, he happily played with the other puppies and enjoyed the warmth and yumminess that I did on Thanksgiving. Just one more thing to be thankful for this year...

Finally I see a belly=)
I know youare probably like shut up I am so fat, I can't stand it. I hated when people said I looked good! Funny Huh?
Hemroids will come after birth and stretch marks appear when the weight is lost also, but they will proabbly be really small and not real bad. You look good so maybe you will be blessed and not get any.
You look GREAT. I am excited to meet Riley via blog!

I'm glad to hear your Thanksgiving was good and Manny was able to come in the house to join in on the festivities :)

You're looking GREAT girl!!! I'm glad that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, considering all the stuff around the holiday!
If it makes you feel any better, I spent two days shopping in Portland/Freeport and have barely touched the list of things I need to complete the Christmas season!!!

This is my first visit to your blog. I like how you are keeping tabs on your pregnancy with it. I just had my second four months ago. As for my input, don't try to do it natural, especially if they have to induce you. I did my first natural with nothing and my second with an epidural and and I will tell anyone go for the epidural. But the best advice I can give is, take your baby to a chiropractor after she is born. It will help dramatically with the colic if you have a colicy baby.

I still think you're pretty small. You're one of those lucky 'all belly' girls where you don't get fat anywhere else.

Glad you had a good holiday.

Note, you must have inherited very good skin not to get stretch marks. I am so envious. My stomach looks like WWII happened on it.

You are all SO SWEET! I have realized that I'm lucky that the belly isn't as ginormous as i'd expected it to be as I enter the "uncomfortable" phase of my pregnancy! I am forcing myself to find the time to drop back onto earth for a bit to post this comment and read some blogs today. All is well - just too much to do and too little time! Can't wait to get our computer going at home! Hope you're all doing well. :)

Oh - and
Welcome, drywall mom! :) I am ALL ABOUT the pain meds - I am such a wimp. I'll probably be asking for an epidural over the phone when I'm 1 cm dilated and my contractions are still about 25 minutes apart. ;) And - that is so good to know about the chiropractor! I see one regularly and she has mentioned it several times - of course I thought she was just trying to make money. ;)
Ang - I will be SOOOOO happy if I'm not plagued by UTI's post-baby!!! :)

The baby's gonna be fine. Geez, you look great too (ducking as Wifey chucks a shoe at me!!!) Just be careful about the swelling of the ankles thing, and rest, Rest, REST! He can play basketball in two years, it's not gonna go anywhere.
