Hi Everyone!
Hi everyone - since I am stuck on the computer trying desparately to finish a shutterfly album (and the site is not at all cooperating!), I thought I'd actually post! Imagine that! Rylee is two and a half and is such a handful! Terribly stubborn, insanely funny and obnoxiously naughty. She has been speaking in sentences for ages and has been able to count to 20 since before she was two. She is super smart and very sweet although she's on the 14 year plan for potty training. (Do they make pull-ups in teenager size?) I have felt like I have mono for two and a half years now and wonder how on earth people ever have a second child. Yes, theirs clearly must be easier than mine.
I hope you're all doing well!!!

Jaime! I've missed you so much, my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw your blog highlighted in my bloglines! SO good to hear from you!!! :) Rylee is absolutely adorable, and she sounds amazing! And, yes, she will get the potty thing eventually, and no you will not need teenage diapers, lol. Aiden got it a few months after his third birthday, so hang in there, girl!
Hope you are well and keeping sane!
Holy Crap!!! A new post!
If I hadn't talked to you yesterday and made plans to see you...I think I would have dropped dead after seeing you post too. :)
She is getting so big. Beautiful as always. It was so great to hear an update from you.
Yeah!!! You're alive!!! :-) I just came to your blog hoping to see an updated picture of Miss Rylee! Yeah!! I hope you're having a great summer. I'm going to be completing on staff the end of September so I should have more than ONE day off a week to spend time with friends!!!
Jaime you need to blog more ;-) I do miss reading your blog. Cant believe how big Rylee is getting. wow! so cute
Wow! A new post from Jaime, hooray!! Rylee looks really cute! 2.5 years is still very early for potty training. You'll get there! The potty training guide from Gina Ford worked wonders for us!
wow... she sure is cute and so grown!!
Potty training.. heh.. well I thankfully have been blessed w/ easily trained BOYS.. which I hear rarely happens.
Taite isnt even 2 and hes trained.
I started training him early tho using the EC method.. and by 21 months he was in big boy pants and almost 100% trained. Now at 22 1/2 months hes fully trained.. except for night time and naps.
The best potty training advice I have...
Buy lots of gummy bears HAHA..
A potty seat to sit on top of the normal potty.. so she doesnt feel like she'll fall in. (they even make foldable ones you can take with you)..
Pick a week to train her.. take away all pull ups and diapers during the day...
I am a firm believer that those ruin any potty training... they have to feel wet mistakes...
Praise the Lord we have hardwood floors :-)
I did this for 2 weeks and Taite was trained.
Hang in there!
i like your blog......
